Girls’ Day 2026: CPM Precision Gives Young Girls Insight into Technical Careers

Once again this year, CPM Precision is taking part in Girls’ Day. On April 23, 2026, we will open our doors to give young girls a hands-on look at our work in medical technology—particularly at the profession of machining technician. In recent years, Girls’ Day has become an important event for us. It offers a genuine look at what machining work is like in practice and encourages questions, open conversation, and first hands-on experiences—free from stereotypes or preconceived expectations.

Looking Back:  Previous  Girls’ Day Participation at CPM Precision

CPM Precision has participated in Girls’ Day several times in recent years, welcoming interested participants and showing them in an interactive and hands-on way what modern machining in medical technology looks like—from planning and production to the finishing of highly precise medical components. This news article provides an overview and impressions from our most recent Girls’ Day participation. The positive feedback and strong interest from participants have encouraged us to continue and further build on this initiative.

Why We Take Part in Girls’ Day

Technical and skilled professions are demanding, diverse, and offer strong long-term career opportunities, yet they are still rarely associated with female career paths. At the same time, the growing shortage of skilled workers is creating increasing challenges for manufacturing companies. This makes it especially important to spark young people’s interest in technical professions early on and to offer practical, real-world insights.

As a contract manufacturer for medical technology, CPM Precision works every day on highly precise components that must meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and responsibility. The role of machining technician plays a key part in this work. It requires technical understanding, specialized skills, and a high level of care, while also offering diverse development opportunities in a technologically advanced and future-proof industry. Girls’ Day offers the opportunity to make these careers more tangible. Hands-on insights into our production processes, along with personal interactions and direct conversations with our colleagues, help reduce barriers, spark interest, and open up new perspectives. We shared impressions from last year’s participation in a Recap Post on LinkedIn.

As a production and training company, Girls’ Day is an important part of how we support young talent, promote equal opportunities, and invest in the future workforce of medical technology. Our goal is to make technical careers accessible and show that they are open to EVERYONE.
